Surrounded by countryside but still easily accessible, the hotel is just ten minutes from East Midlands Airport and the M1, making it a great choice for teams travelling from across the Midlands and beyond.

Built around a mill tower with its very own water wheels, this independent hotel combines heritage features with flexible spaces, riverside views and a private garden, a great backdrop for both productive working and relaxed connection.

Riverside Setting for inspiring events

The Priest House has six flexible meeting spaces, suitable for everything from board meetings to indoor team building activities and larger company events. With natural light, air conditioning and views of the river or gardens, the meeting rooms at the Priest House offer a bright and calm environment for connection and collaboration.

The Riverside Suite is the largest space, with oak-beamed ceilings and capacity for up to 130 guests theatre-style it's ideal for any corporate event. With a private bar and views across the River Trent, it works well for all-hands meetings, team-building events or end of financial year celebrations.

The Garden Suite is a bright and spacious conference room with beamed ceilings suitable for up to 100 delegates. This is the ideal spot for some indoor team building activities like Chain Reaction or The Treasure Chest. The unique feature of the room is its French doors opening on to a private patio and garden, giving your team an excellent break out spot to enjoy a some refreshments during the day.

For smaller team meetings, the Aston, Boardroom and Terrace rooms offer flexible space for 8 to 50 people, while the Weston Room is a relaxed, riverside space with a private bar and informal seating layout.

Great food and riverside relaxation

The Priest House has 42 individually styled bedrooms, from classic doubles to cottage-style rooms and larger suites. The Millstream Brasserie & Bar serves seasonal menus and has its own riverside terrace for al fresco lunches or evening drinks. There’s also the option of private dining in one of the hotel’s function rooms.

Whether you're wrapping up a day of strategy, bonding over a team-building challenge, or simply catching up with colleagues over a drink, there are plenty of spaces to relax and connect.
