Based in the heart of Clitheroe, Holmes Mill is a truly unique Lancashire event venue. This former textile mill is divided into three unique buildings, the Spinning Block with the hotel and bistro; the Boiler House with the Cotton Room function space, bowling alley and beer hall; and the Weaving Shed with the business centre, food hall and café. Whether you’re hosting a board meeting, or a large company get together for up to 150 delegates, Holmes Mill has a variety of characterful spaces that provide the perfect backdrop for conferences and events. For guests staying overnight, the 1823 Spinning Block Hotel has been beautifully converted to create 39 individually designed and decorated bedrooms making Holmes Mill the perfect place to indulge, unwind and explore.

Holmes Mill has three incredible spaces for hosting corporate events. The Boiler House Cotton Room is equipped with an interactive 65-inch TV, air conditioning, WIFI and a fully stocked bar. With natural textured walls, exposed beams and period character, this event space is ideal for larger conferences, product launches and team building events. Lancashire’s rich industrial heritage has been preserved as part of the site’s restoration, giving this space real personality and flair whilst at the same time providing all the modern conveniences needed for a successful event. Holmes Mill’s brand-new Board Room in the Weaving Shed Business Centre is ideal for local clients looking to host a small meeting for up to 12 people. Alternatively, the characterful Chimney Room boasts plenty of original features from its former life as a textile mill.
