Stirk House Hotel

Stirk House is an award-winning Ribble Valley hotel surrounded by 22 acres of ancient woodland and beautiful gardens, ideal for a variety of team building activities. The hotel has three separate conference rooms, all of different sizes, making it the perfect place for meetings whether you’re hosting 2 or 200 delegates. This 17th-century manor is surrounded by picturesque views of Pendle Hill, the Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales but is is located just 8.1 miles from the town of Clitheroe and close to the A59 for delegates travelling from further afield.

Stirk House was built in 1635 using stonework from the former Sawley Abbey and still retains many original features including a magnificent stone-arched fireplace, original ceilings and a priest hole. The 33 charming bedrooms at Stirk House reflect the hotel’s commitment to comfort, ensuring your delegates have a great night’s sleep whether they’ve chosen to stay in a classic double or one of the hotel’s stunning suites. When it comes to conference hire, the hotel's TV Room is ideal for small team meetings of up to 8 people. Alternatively, the Gallery Room can accommodate 10 - 50 people depending on room layout and the Ballroom can seat 250. With its flexible function spaces and beautifully kept grounds, Stirk House is the ideal place for a conference or meeting.
