During the Estate’s two-year restoration project, The Ridings is the main operational venue offering a strong mix of meeting spaces, accommodation and dining. Designed for team connection 

The Ridings is home to six adaptable event spaces, making it easy to shape the day around your goals. Three purpose-built studios are ideal for small group work, each with space for up to eight people and equipped with plasma screens. For mid-sized meetings, The Cecil and The Prescott offer a blend of rustic style and practical features, with capacity for 12 boardroom or up to 30 theatre-style, and the added bonus of natural daylight and air conditioning.

Larger groups are well supported too. The Burghley is the venue’s most versatile space, hosting up to 90 theatre-style or 40 cabaret, and works well for team briefings, workshops or leadership days. Teams often make use of the outdoor Courtyard or surrounding grounds to break away from the agenda, run informal sessions or simply enjoy time together in the fresh air.

With 55 acres to explore, there’s plenty of space for team building activities, informal catch-ups, morning walks or moments of quiet in between sessions. There are currently 70 guest rooms offering a comfortable place to unwind after a full day of meetings or collaborative team challenges. The rooms combine classic character with modern amenities, making them well suited to overnight retreats or extended business stays.

Dining takes place in The Ridings Restaurant, a warm and inviting space with original wooden beams and a contemporary feel. It’s a great setting for team dinners or relaxed networking, with the option to dine al fresco in the Courtyard during the summer months. Exclusive use of the restaurant can also be arranged depending on your event needs.
